UryuxReader: Pride of the Quincy Part 43

It had started as a normal morning at school, when you sensed three strong spirit energies coming from the park. You, Ichigo, Uryu and Chad all rushed to the scene to find three men standing in a carter surrounded by unconscious humans. You found out that they work for Aizen, one of ex-Soul Reaper Captains that betrayed the Soul Society, and were here to collect information on you and Ichigo. You also found out that they had hollow masks, but you didn’t know hollows could look so human. After that, it was decided that two of the hollows were going to fight you and Ichigo and the last one shot an attack at Uryu and Chad knocking them out.

You glanced over at Uryu, who smashed into a tree from the surprise attack. You turned and glared at the three hollows before you. Sparks of fire ignited from around your body. “You’ll pay for that.”

“Oh looks like you made the little Lass angry Ulquiorra.” The red headed hollow, Soriboto said smirking.

“It will make the information we get better.” The seemly leaded of the group, Ulquiorra commented.

“Can we start already?” The largest of the ground, Yammy whined. “I want to crash the Soul Reapers head in.”

“Remember Yammy, information. If he is a threat, then you can kill him.” Ulquiorra said. “Now go.”

“On it!” Soriboto charged towards you.

“About time!” Yammy cried throwing a punch at Ichigo. That was the last you saw of there fight. You were too busy with your own fight.

“I hope you make this fun for me missy!” Soriboto yelled pulling the sword at his side out of the sheath. It was a normal blade; expect that the tip of the blade curved up slightly.

You snapped your fingers and a ball of fire came to life in your hands. “I’ll end this quickly and take out that guy behind you.”

“Don’t get too cocky princess, you might get hurt.”

“The only one getting hurt is you!” You whipped your arm out and a steam of fire rushed towards Soriboto. He swung his sword and cut right though the fire.

“You have to be able to do better then that! Show me the fire that marred Gin Ichimaru.”

“So that injury didn’t heal, huh?” You smirked. “That’s good to know.” You closed your eyes and fire shot out around you. It spun around you at a high speed. “Let’s see if you can cut though this!” You threw your arm out and the fire blew away from you and charged towards Soriboto at a quick pace. He got into position to cut though the tornado of fire, when suddenly it tripled in size.

His eyes widened. “Damn it!” He jumped to the side, but not quick enough. His right pants leg was incinerated and a portion of his leg was burned. He landed and he flinched a bit as he put pressure on the leg, but instead of getting angry he just laughed. “Good! You’re making this fun!”

“I don’t have time to play with you. I’m going to kill that bastard behind you.” You glared over his shoulder at Ulquiorra, who stood calmly watching the fight.

“I don’t plan to lose to you missy, but I will enjoy this fight.”

“This ‘missy’ struck the first blow.”

“It will be your last!” Soriboto charged at you with his sword ready to strike at your side.

“Now who’s cocky?” You snapped your finger and the fire started to spin around you once again.

“You’ll be begging for your life in no time.” Soriboto slashed at you, but your flame formed a shield in front of you deflecting the attack from you. He growled and continued to slash at you, but you flames kept the blade from reaching you.

You tilted your head. “I thought I was supposed to be begging for my life, I don’t feel threatened at all.”

Soriboto jumped back from you. “This damn human world, not enough reishi here to use my full power.”

“Making up excuses for your lack of power?”

“See how you like this!” Soriboto opened his mouth wide. You blinked, what the heck was he doing?
