UryuxReader: Pride of the Quincy Part 85

You waited next to Uryu as Captain Kurotsuchi healed him and then Renji. They were both covered in a strange black ribbon that was healing all of their internal wounds. Everything seemed peaceful, until a voice spoke out from inside all of your minds.

“Can you hear me intruders?” A male voice called out to all of you. It echoed in your head. You knew this voice.

“Aizen!”

“First, allow me to compliment you for defeating so many Espadas.” Aizen said almost mockingly. “And now we will begin our invasion of the world of the living.” The air grew tense with this information.

“How?!” Uryu asked sitting up. “I thought you couldn’t invade until Orihime’s powers had awakened the Hogyoku!”

“I will leave Orihime Inoue in the fifth tower. If you want her, come and get her. She is no longer of any use to me.”

Renji sneered. “No longer of use?!” Aizen then went on that he kidnapped Orihime to create a crisis in the Soul Society making them withdraw from defending the Soul Society and abandoning the world of the living.

You growled. “He used all of us.”

Aizen explained that kidnapping Orihime lead Ichigo and the rest of you, along with the four captains that came to help you. “Now, you all have been successfully confined, thanks to her.” You then felt a shift in the energy of the area.

“What was that?” You asked looking over at Captain Kurotsuchi, who looked annoyed.

“The four gargantas we came though have been sealed.” Captain Kurotsuchi explained. The gargantas, the portals they had come though, without them you were all trapped here.

“What?! Is…Is it possible to open them again from in here?!” Uryu demanded slightly panicked.

“No. Only Kisuke Urahara has a thorough understanding of the gargantas. And we can’t communicate with him from here. What a shame.” Aizen went on that he would destroy Karakura town, create the Oken and destroy the Soul Society. And once that was all done, he would come back to deal with the rest of you.

“No. No! I can’t let him get to Karakura town.” You jumped to your feet ready to take off to Aizen’s tower. Your family was still home, you couldn’t let this psycho harm them.

“Stop idiot.” Captain Kurotsuchi said glancing at you. “Where do you think your going?”

“My family is still in Karakura Town! I can’t just sit here and let them get killed! I’m going!”

“There is no need.”

You glared at him. “What?!” How dare he say that?!

“The head captain issued two orders before we left. The first order was to send a few captains to Hueco Mundo. The second order was for the captains of all thirteen court guard companies to prepare to fight in Karakua town.”

“Then, right now the thirteen court guard companies are…” Uryu asked looking over at him.

“Yes. They’ve probably just been deployed.” Captain Kurotsuchi commented. He then explained how Karakura town had been switched with a replica that was created in the Soul Society. So the town the Captains would be fighting over was a fake, so they could do all the damage they wanted without destroying the real town.

“What about my parents?” You asked, thinking of them in the Soul Society. Your dad would love it for his game design.

“They were put to sleep and sent to the Rukongai area along with the town itself.” You relaxed, so your parents were safe. That was one less thing to worry about. Now you could focus on getting out of here.
